2013), all applications and materials must be processed through the electronics portal at the NMSU Graduate School WebSite:
Once there, just click on the first link that says “Applying and
Admissions”
We will no longer accept items submitted either via regular
mail sent to the Department of Languages and Linguistics, OR any items emailed
to the Department of Program Director.
Regardless of what our departmental website states.
There are no exceptions to this rule! An advantage to this new system is that
each applicant will be able to monitor the status of their own application (especially if items are missing or not).
Official deadlines for both online and on-campus MA programs
is:
Sept. 15 for admission for the following Spring semester
Feb. 15 for admission for the following Fall semester
